How much are you willing to just accept as 'normal'?

Who wants to be normal anyway?

It’s amazing how much we are willing to accept as ‘normal’ when it comes to poor health. I’ve done it! I’m talking from experience here.

We accept feeling tired all the time. 

We accept feeling stressed all the time. 

We accept having to eat Rennies like sweets after a meal. 

We accept waking up at 3 am and not getting back to sleep until the alarm is about to go off. 

We accept the hormone hips and the stress belly.

We accept the aches and pains in our joints.

We accept the stiff back.

We accept a lot when we can label it or find an excuse for it. 

​​I’m tired because I’m a mum, and I’m busy, and I work, and I probably don’t eat well enough and I’m getting old. 

​​It’s “just” IBS, my age, insomnia, anxiety… 

We just accept it. 

From my own experience and from talking to a lot of women who have been putting up with feeling less than fabulous for a while we accept this stuff because we are told it’s normal and there isn’t really anything we can do about it. Except maybe to try and live a little healthier

What we’re not told is that most dis-ease in the body has a cause. It isn’t easy to find the cause but it is there. And with the right support you can find that root cause and feel good again. 

So instead of tackling the tiredness with coffee and the stress with wine I’m helping people investigate the ROOT CAUSE of their discomfort.
