Do you make time to feel beautiful?

Maybe taking the time to do your hair and make up feel like a luxury you can’t afford as a mum? Because surely, looking good, is purely a superficial thing right?

Well actually, I don’t think it is.

If you feel beautiful, it can make a huge difference to  your day. It feels great to take pride in your appearance and I want to talk to you about how to fit a little more of that luxury grooming into your morning routine.

I’ve come to realise that there comes a big mental shift when you move from ‘not being embarrassed to leave the house’ to ‘feeling good about how you look’.

We are all different but I find that almost every girl out there has a basic rule for leaving the house; whether you are like my Nan who would not go out without high heels, perfectly styled hair and a fresh dash of lippy, or you are the girl who goes out in nothing but a pair of Converse and an ‘I don’t give a s***’ attitude.

After baby no 1, I spent my efforts on ‘not being embarrassed to leave the house’. I had basic rules, or you could probably call them minimum hygiene standards. Watch today’s episode to find out how I changed my priorities and tweaked my morning routine so I always feel good about myself!
